Start with the characters and artwork. Volume 4 is a starting point for Ponyta fans; Volume 6 is a starting point for Applin fans. A set's theme does not guarantee a particular card in an individual box.

If you enjoy opening packs

Compare the price and the confirmed pack count for the exact box you are buying. For the listed 18-pack boxes, divide the current box price by 18 to compare the cost per pack before shipping and discounts. That calculation measures opening cost, not the value of the cards you will pull.

If you collect sealed boxes

Match the volume and set code to the gap in your display. Review the listing photos and packaging details, especially if exterior box condition matters to your collection.

Are these English-language cards?

No. These are Chinese-language releases. Our Volume 3, 4, and 6 listings specify Simplified Chinese; the Volume 5 listing identifies the product as the Chinese edition. Always match the language and set code on the product page before ordering.

Does every box contain a chase card or complete set?

No specific Pokémon, illustration card, rarity, or complete set is promised. Packs contain randomly inserted cards, and duplicates can occur. Holographic cards are not automatically rare chase cards.

Which volume is the best value?

Choose based on your budget, favorite artwork, and the current price of the exact box. A higher box price does not establish better pull rates, and this guide does not rank boxes by expected resale returns.
